Thanks for the Iran petition link, although I don't have much hope that the administration will listen to the voices of their constituents.

Signed the petition. It's funny that if Jesus was alive today, I bet he'd be a pro-life liberal.

Laurie - I definately agree with you. The petition probably won't even reach Bush's desk, and if it does it;ll probably be thrown right out. But its still worth a try...

Kathleen - He definately would be. And it'd be a real wakeup call to the conservatives. Thanks for signing.

I found your blog after reading your comments on the Russ Feingold for president site. I've been waiting for "Dan K." to post his thoughts on the censure resolution -- Which is pretty much dead now... not that I didn't know that would be the end result. Pretty pathetic regarding how little support he got from fellow Democrats, huh?

I signed the petition, although I seriously doubt it will do any good. IMO it is only a matter of time before we bomb Iran. How much fake diplomacy and misinformation will there be first? Will we use tatical nukes? Is this the beginning of WWIII?

In the meantime gas prices will continue to rise... which I think, as far as bush is concerned, is an added bonus (or is it the primary reason?)

I'll bookmark your blog... and if anyone is interested -- Please check out my blog. I haven't posted anything in awhile, but I haven't given up on it yet (I'm not getting much traffic, or comments). Thanks!

You cannot be a liberal if you do not feel free :)

Freedom has a cost, only the cost of oneself.

w-dervish - Thanks for signing. I'm afraid that this may be the start of World War III. It is pathetic how little support Russ Feingold received on the censure resolution. The gas prices just keep rising, and all the money is probably going right into Bush's pocket, or one of his fellow oil men. You think that they could keep the oil prices down with all their oil connections. But they're too worried about their own greed to do what's best for the country.

    politiques USA - totally agree.

That was NEVER the goal. That is the FALSE argument that conservatives often make -- if Iraq were about oil then why are gas prices so high? With this irrefutable piece of logic they think they have won the argument.

Higher oil prices beneift the people who paid for his two presidential campaigns! He works for, and answers to these people, NOT ordinary Americans. He only has contempt for everybody else, including the gullible fools who voted for him!

Right on--Democrats are sitting ducks these days, at a time in which a coup d'etat would be easier than a blow job in the Oval Office.

definately agree. Look at immigration. Illegal immigrants benefit the large corporations because they don't have to pay pensions or medical benefits or even give them minimum wage. Bush doesn't care that this takes jobs away from Americans, all he cares about is how it benefits the rich.

Laurie - definately. Democrats really need to get together and speak their minds.
